Neighbourhood Shapes in Kuala Lumpur

Sonja's Photography Folio

I spent the day wandering around exploring a neighbourhood of Kuala Lumpur away from the city hype. I was really attracted by the influence of the architecture, repetition of line, and how these lines and shapes dominate the eye-line. Whether it’s through a soaring skyscraper, a highrise apartment block, ground level houses or furniture, the shapes and lines have a definitive impact upon how we see things.  I used black and white images to highlight this effect.
