I spent the day wandering around exploring a neighbourhood of Kuala Lumpur away from the city hype. I was really attracted by the influence of the architecture, repetition of line, and how these lines and shapes dominate the eye-line. Whether it’s through a soaring skyscraper, a highrise apartment block, ground level houses or furniture, the shapes and lines have a definitive impact upon how we see things. Earlier this week I posted a Black & White portrait of a rider and his camel. (You can see that post here). Clearly this duo fascinated me because they made such terrific subjects. Don’t you love how they’re both looking in the same direction…again 🙂
